Funeral Services for Darlene Jean Sivesind

​  A Celebration of Life service will be held this summer for Darlene Jean Wegner Sivesind, 63. of Santan Valley, Az., who died Feb. 18, 2021  at her home in Santan Valley.
  Darlene J. Sivesind, daughter of Joyce and Dale Wegner of Stanton, was born on Aug. 12, 1957.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church and she attended the Stanton Schools, graduating at Stanton High School in 1975. She also graduated in 1977 from Northeast Community College in Norfolk.
  In 1979, she was united in marriage to Tim Sivesind of O’Neill and two children were born to this union.  She was employed by United Parcel for 17 years in O’Neill, after which the family moved to Chandler, where she had own swimming pool cleaning business and later was employed at Home Depot. The couple later divorced.
  Survivors include a daughter, Amy Ayer of Willmar, MN and a son, Tony (Morgan) Sivesind of Gilbert, AZ, a twin brother, Dale Wegner Jr. of Carson City, NV, a brother, Joe (Jeanne) Wegner of Fremont, NE and her parents, Joyce & Dale Wegner of Stanton.
  Her remains will be buried in the Stanton Cemetery at a later date.
