Stanton Senior Spotlight: Get To Know Marissa Remm

Parents:
Brandon & Sarah Remm
Please list activities you participated in throughout high school, along with the number of years you participated in each activity: Volleyball, Basketball, Track- 4 years; National Honor Society & Choir- 3 years, Jazz choir-2 years, Tri-M Music Honor Society & Student Council- 1 year.
What is your best grade school memory? My favorite grade school memory was when we used to play with the parachute in P.E. I loved it when we would play the shark game and kids would be under the parachute and would pull other kids underneath. It was always fun!
What is your best high school memory? My favorite high school memory was going to state track. I was just an alternate so I didn’t have to actually run, thank goodness! But it was so fun hanging out with my friends and everyone and just goofing around, having a good time.
What is your favorite quote? “Have courage and be kind.” from the movie Cinderella.
What is your advice for incoming freshmen? Enjoy it while you can, because life is only going to get harder. You only get to be a high school student for four years of your entire life, so don’t miss out on all the opportunities you have.
What are your plans after high school? My plan is to attend Wayne State College for four years to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
