Correspondents Sought In Stanton, Pilger & Woodland Park

The Stanton Register is under new ownership and very much wants to cover all of the news happening in Stanton County, including Stanton, Pilger and Woodland Park. We are looking for community-minded individuals to help us cover various events and news stories. This can be helping us now or in the fall after school and sports continue.

While we do have a couple of writers now, we know that the more people we have helping us, the better we can cover the county. Great things are happening in Stanton County, and the public needs to know about them. From photos and short video clips, there are many ways to help us with the newspaper. We will be using social media heavily as well.

We can offer very little, if any pay, at this time for correspondents because we are trying to get the newspaper back up and running again. Increased advertising and local printing will allow us to reinvest in the newspaper to improve quality and content for Stanton, Pilger and Woodland Park for the the longterm.
