Bryant, Locke Win Stanton Spelling Bee

The annual Stanton Middle School Spelling Bee was Thursday in the middle school gym. They had a written round for grades 5-8 earlier this morning at 8:30 a.m.. The finalists from that round then qualified to be in the verbal round.

The fifth and sixth graders verbal round started at 10 a.m. The verbal round for the seventh and eighth graders followed soon after. Trophies were given to the top three in each category. The winner for the fifth and sixth grade round was William Bryant with Ryan Locke winning the seventh and eighth grade round. Below is a list of all the students who placed.
